"Help The Homeless" Song Release

The Massachusetts Housing & Shelter Alliance (MHSA) is partnering with Boston artist Derek "Big D" Cummings of BTF Entertainment for today's song release of "Help The Homeless." The song is now available on iTunes and Amazon Music for $1, with 100 percent of proceeds going toward MHSA in support of our mission to end homelessness in Massachusetts.

Learn about Sherman, a tenant whose life has changed after being placed in housing through MHSA's Pay for Success initiative.

Funds raised through "Help The Homeless" enable people like Sherman to move off of the streets, out of shelters and into housing.

"Money, fame or success should not define you as a person. How much effort you put in today and how you make others feel is what really matters. Listening to 'Help The Homeless' helps us realize that we are all the same, and it's all about helping each other," explained Big D. Big D is also known for his hit song "Boston Strong."

Thank you for helping us move one step closer toward our goal of ending homelessness in Massachusetts!
