Ending Homelessness 101 Speaker Series

Beginning in Fall 2011, the MHSA Young Professionals Group (YPG)’s Advocacy and Policy Committee will host a speaker series: Ending Homelessness 101.

This series will provide opportunities for young professionals to deepen their understanding of homelessness in Massachusetts, network with policymakers and service providers and become effective advocates for permanent solutions to homelessness.

At our first session, we welcome as our featured speaker Liz Rogers, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Interagency Council on Housing and Homelessness.

Learn about:
• Past and current responses to homelessness in Massachusetts
• Housing First and the importance of permanent solutions
• State agencies' roles in addressing homelessness
