Winter 2008-2009

• Joe Finn, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance, and Tom Washington, Director of Community Relations of Father Bills & MainSpring will speak at “Help for the Homeless,” a community forum at All Souls Church, Unitarian Universalist. The forum will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. at 196 Elm Street in Braintree.

• Join SAM as we work with Episcopal City Mission, One Family, Inc. and the Massachusetts Interagency Council on Housing and Homelessness to bring together faith communities from across Massachusetts for an evening event on ending homelessness in the Commonwealth. Details to be announced.

• Faith communities in the Greater Lowell area, the SHIFT Coalition, One Family, Inc., SAM and others will come together in late winter at Christ Church United in Lowell for an interfaith event on hunger and homelessness.  Contact Caitlin Golden at (617) 367-6447 ext. 28 or cgolden@mhsa.net if you would like to join the planning team.
