Progress Through Partnerships: 9th Annual Provider Celebration
Mental Health & Substance Abuse Corporations of Massachusetts, Inc. (MHSACM) recognized MHSA and its member agencies at its 9th Annual Provider Celebration, Progress Through Partnerships, held on Friday, October 24, 2008 at The Westin Waltham Hotel.
The Partners in Public Policy Award honored the Massachusetts Coalition for Addiction Services, comprised of MHSA President & Executive Director Joe Finn, Maryanne Frangules of the Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery, Maddie Ribble of the Boston Public Health Commission, and Peter Crumb of the Massachusetts Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors. Others recognized at the event include Margaret Davitt of MHSA member agency South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC), who received the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Division of Residential Recovery Services of MHSA member agency Victory Programs, Inc. who received the Excellence in Best Practices Award. Victory Programs President & Executive Director Jonathan Scott delivered a moving tribute to his staff before they received the award. Please click here to read his address.
