SUMMER 2010

Young Professionals Unite to End Homelessness in Massachusetts

On Wednesday, July 28, young professionals throughout the Boston area gathered at Lir Restaurant for It’s Revolutionary: Keys Cure Homelessness, a social and networking fundraiser.

Hosted by the MHSA Young Professionals Group, more than 75 young professionals and businesses supported the event to further the MHSA mission of ending homelessness in the Commonwealth. Attendees enjoyed appetizers and drinks as they learned more about ways to end homelessness.

“It is so important for young leaders to become involved in ending homelessness, it is an issue that affects us all,” said MHSA Communications Assistant Jenna Wilson, who helped coordinate the event. “We are very grateful for all the sponsors and volunteers that made the evening a success.”

Pictures of Housing First tenants filled the television screens and a media room was set up where attendees could browse through news articles and watch a video entitled “Keys Cure Homelessness,” produced by Chris Goff.
